MF stands for mirror finished. Using a particular milling technique the ACP 5080MF precision cast plate is given a surface as smooth as glass requiring no hand-polishing. With a maximum surface parameter (Ra) of 0.15 μm flawless optical quality is consistently assured.
The reverse side is surface machined. As with all ACP products, a fine-grained and pore-free aluminium cast structure with well-balanced mechanical characteristics is synonymous witht the ACP 5080MF.
The ACP 5080MF solar panel was judged by the European Aluminium Award 2008 jury to be excellent, receiving the coveted prize in the class of 'Industrial Products'. The reflective aluminium plate is utilized in the solar, measuring and laser technology fields in vacuum applications, food and medical technology as well as in the optical industry.
